Vindu Dara Singh, born as Virender Singh Randhawa on May 6, 1964, is a well-known Indian actor who has made significant contributions to both Hindi and Punjabi television films. He is the son of the legendary wrestler and actor, Dara Singh.

Vindu Dara Singh made his acting debut as a child artist in the Punjabi film "Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar" in 1970. His first role as an adult was in the Punjabi film "Rab Dian Rakhan" in 1996, which was directed by his father. He started his Bollywood career with the film "Karan" in 1994.

Since then, he has acted in many films, mostly in supporting roles. Some of his notable films include "Garv", "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya", "Partner", "Khushboo", "Team - The Force", "Kisse Pyaar Karoon", "Kambakkht Ishq", "Maruti", "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi", "Son of Sardaar", "Jatt James Bond", "The Lion of Punjab", "Housefull", and "Housefull 2".

Moreover, Vindu Dara Singh has also made significant contributions to television. He played the role of Lord Hanuman in the TV serial "Jai Veer Hanuman", much like his father did in "Ramayan". He has also starred as a supervillain in TV serials on Star Plus, including "Zaal" in "Ssshhhh...Koi Hai" and "Char Sau Chalis" in "Karma – Koi Aa Rahaa Hai Waqt Badalney". He has made appearances in television shows like "Master Chef 2", "Zor ka Jhatka", "Nach Baliye", "Comedy Circus", "All Most Famous", and "Maa Exchange".

Vindu Dara Singh leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys travelling and swimming. He is also a food enthusiast and prefers non-vegetarian food. His favorite restaurant is Bayroute in Juhu, Mumbai.

Vindu Dara Singh was first married to actress Farah Naaz in 1996, with whom he has a son, Fateh Randhawa. The couple divorced in 2002. After his divorce, Vindu got married to model-cum-entrepreneur, Dina Umarova, in 2005, and they together have a daughter named Amelia Randhawa.

In 2013, Vindu Dara Singh was arrested by the Mumbai Police in the IPL match-fixing case. According to the prosecutor, a SIM card was given by an absconding bookie named 'Sanjay Jaipur' to the controversial Pakistani umpire, Asad Rauf. Vindu had asked the umpire to destroy the SIM before being arrested.
