Madhuri Dixit, born on May 15, 1967, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, hails from a Marathi Brahmin family. Her parents are Late Shankar Dixit and Snehlata Dixit. She has two sisters, Rupa Dixit and Bharati Dixit, and a brother, Ajit Dixit. Madhuri is married to Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, a cardiovascular surgeon, and they have two sons, Raayan Nene and Arin Nene.

Madhuri Dixit made her acting debut in 1984 with the film 'Abodh'. Her breakthrough came in 1988 with the action romance drama 'Tezaab'.
