Salman "Sal" Khan is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Khan Academy, a not-for-profit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

He founded Khan Academy in September 2009 and has served as its CEO continuously since then, holding the joyful job of helping Khan Academy grow into an institution that can educate billions for generations to come.
