Kapil Sharma, a renowned Indian stand-up comedian, television host, actor, and producer, was born on April 2, 1981. He hails from Amritsar, Punjab, India.

Kapil Sharma's journey to fame began when he won the comedy reality television show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2007. He then hosted and produced popular television comedy shows such as 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and 'Family Time with Kapil'. He has also won seasons of the comedy show 'Comedy Circus' along with various partners.
