Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan was an Indian classical music violinist and music composer. He was born on 2 March 1935 in Kundrakudi, Tamil Nadu, India and died on 8 September 2008 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India at the age of 73.

He was trained by his father, Ramaswamy Sastry, and was known for his mastery and innovation in playing the violin. He also composed music for several Tamil films and acted in some of them. He received many awards and honors, including the Padma Shri and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
