Taruni Sachdev (14 May 1998 – 14 May 2012) was an Indian child actress and model known for her work in television commercials and films.
She was born in Mumbai, India, to Haresh Sachdev and Geeta Sachdev, and began appearing in advertisements at a young age, becoming widely recognized for her role as the “Rasna girl.”
She made her film debut in the Malayalam film Vellinakshatram in 2004, followed by another Malayalam film, Sathyam, the same year.

She later appeared in the Hindi film Paa (2009), where she played the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s classmate, and she was also known for appearing in more than 50 commercials during her brief career.
Taruni Sachdev died in the Agni Air Flight crash near Jomsom Airport in Nepal on 14 May 2012, which was also her 14th birthday. Her final film credit, the Tamil film Vetri Selvan, was released posthumously in 2014.
