Shenaz Treasurywala (born June 29, 1981, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress, television host, model, and travel vlogger known for her versatile work in Bollywood and Hollywood films.
She was raised in a middle-class Gujarati-speaking Parsi family; her father is a Merchant Marine Engineer (also described as a Merchant Navy captain) who worked on cargo ships, and Shenaz spent the first seven years of her life traveling the globe aboard vessels carrying potatoes, onions, and rice.
After completing school in Mumbai, she enrolled at St. Xavier's College, where she was discovered by a photographer during her first year.

Her first modeling assignment was for the soft drink Gold Spot, and she subsequently did advertising work for Akai and Philips. MTV Networks Asia then hired her as a video jockey (VJ) for the program "MTV's Most Wanted," which rose her to prominent visibility in the Indian entertainment industry.
She made her acting debut in the 2001 Telugu film "Eduruleni Manishi," and her Bollywood debut came with the coming-of-age romance "Ishq Vishk" in 2003, where she played the lead role opposite Shahid Kapoor. Her performance in "Ishq Vishk" earned her a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Filmfare Film Awards.
She continued appearing in a range of Bollywood films including "Hum Tum" (2004), "Aagey Se Right" (2009), "Delhi Belly" (2011), "Luv Ka the End" (2011), "Main Aur Mr. Riight" (2014), and "Kaalakaandi" (2018).
In addition to her Indian film work, she has appeared in several Hollywood movies, including "Excuse Me for Living" (2012), "The Networker" (2015), and "The Big Sick" (2017). Her lifelong passion for travel led her to write travel articles for major publications such as Cosmopolitan, ELLE, and Femina, and she currently serves as the host of "Culture Shock" on the Travel Channel.
In 2001, she moved to New York City to further her training, where she studied method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and took a writing course at NYU. She remains based in Mumbai, India, and her hobbies include jet skiing, travel, and photography. She has a sibling named Tina Treasurywala and is married to Roye Segal.
