Richa Ahuja (born September 16, 1973, in New Delhi, India) is a former Indian actress who worked in Hindi, Tamil, English, and French films and theatre productions. She was active in the entertainment industry from 1992 to 2001.

She is the daughter of Sushma Ahuja, a New Delhi-based vocalist, playwright, and actress, and a Pakistani Hindu father of Sindhi background. She acted in several plays from childhood before transitioning to screen acting.

Her first film appearance was in Praying with Anger (1991), an experimental English film that also marked the directorial debut of M. Night Shyamalan during his student days. Her screen career launched with this film, establishing her presence in international cinema.

After her debut, she performed in Hindi and English theatre and worked on projects in Chennai, where she lived for a period. She starred in the Hindi film Ziddi (1997), which became one of her notable Bollywood roles.

In Tamil cinema, she played the lead role of Anjali opposite Ajith Kumar in Sushma Ahuja's directorial Uyirodu Uyiraga (1998), a romantic drama film written and directed by her mother. She also appeared in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Dum Dum Dum (2001). Moreover, she held a leading role as Indra Hamsa in the French production Le Mystère Parasuram (2000).

In the early 1990s, Richa Ahuja gained recognition as a video jockey on Plus Channel's Mirch Masala, working alongside industry luminaries Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.

She also performed 30 times in Girish Karnad's Hayavadana as Padmini. In Hindi theatre, she performed in productions including Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters and Mahesh Elkunchwar's Viraasat Parts I and II, as well as Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire and Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea.

Richa Ahuja married Kash Badami on February 14, 2002, and they have three children together. After 2001, she left the film industry and is no longer active as an actress. She later became the Artistic Director at Living Theater Academy, continuing her artistic journey in arts education across multiple continents.
