Anupama Parameswaran (born 18 February 1996) is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada cinema.
She rose to prominence with her debut role as Mary George in the blockbuster Malayalam film Premam (2015), which became one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of that year.
Her father is Parameswaran Erekkath, and her mother is Sunitha Parameswaran, who works at LIC of India. She has a younger brother named Akshay.She attended Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Irinjalakuda for her secondary education. She later enrolled at CMS College Kottayam, where she pursued a BA in Communicative English and Journalism, but she eventually dropped out to focus on her acting career.

She began her acting career at the age of 19. Her debut in Premam alongside Nivin Pauly catapulted her into the limelight and earned her instant recognition in the South Indian film industry.
The film, directed by Alphonse Puthran, depicted three layers of a love story and was well-received by audiences and critics alike. For her performance in Premam, she received the IIFA Utsavam Award for Best Supporting Actress - Telugu and the Ramu Karyat Award for Most Popular Actress in 2016.
After Premam, she transitioned to Telugu cinema with A Aa (2016), where she played Nagavalli "Valli" opposite Nithiin and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film was a super hit and collected Rs 37.95 crore at the box office.
She continued her successful foray into Tollywood with films such as Sathamanam Bhavati (2017), Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi (2017), Krishnarjuna Yudham (2018), Tej I Love You (2018), and Hello Guru Prema Kosame (2018). In Malayalam cinema, she appeared in Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017) alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Maniyarayile Ashokan (2020) where she also served as an assistant director, and made a cameo appearance in Kurup (2021). Kurup received excellent responses from viewers and grossed over Rs 112 crores at the box office.
Anupama made her Tamil debut with Kodi (2016), a political action drama where she played Malathi opposite Dhanush. For her role in Kodi, she received a Filmfare Award South nomination for Best Supporting Actress – Tamil. Her Tamil appearances also include Thalli Pogathey (2021) alongside Atharvaa. In Kannada cinema, she made her debut with Natasaarvabhowma (2019), playing Shruthi alongside Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.
She had a record-breaking year in 2025 with six films releasing, including the bilingual Dragon, the Malayalam courtroom drama Janaki V vs State of Kerala, Paradha, The Pet Detective, and the Tamil film Bison.
She also starred in Lockdown, a Tamil drama thriller that premiered at the 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa on 23 November 2025 and was released in theatres on 30 January 2026. In Lockdown, she played Anitha alongside Charle and Livingston. Her upcoming project includes Crazy Kalyanam.
