Sajjad Delafrooz (born 22 November 1983) is an Iranian actor who was raised in the United Arab Emirates and has appeared in Hindi movies.
He was born in Shiraz, Iran (specifically in a small village near Shiraz or Lamerd city), and his family moved to Sharjah, UAE, when he was two years old. He grew up in an Indian neighborhood in Sharjah, which helped him develop connections to Hindi culture.

He pursued higher education in Northern Cyprus at age 18, where he earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). After returning to the UAE, he worked as a public relations manager in Abu Dhabi and later as a marketing executive in Abu Dhabi.
Despite his family's protests, he quit his job after a year and began modeling full-time to pay his bills, eventually starting his acting career in 2011.
He speaks five languages - Hindi, English, Arabic, Turkish, and Farsi which allows him to work across borders and cultures. He got his major breakthrough when he was cast in the Bollywood hit film "Baby" in 2015, playing a Saudi Doctor. Following this maiden feature film appearance, he worked in the TV series "Follow the Money" (2016) and the TV movie "Journey" (2016).
His most notable role came in 2017's "Tiger Zinda Hai," where he played the main antagonist Abu Usman opposite Salman Khan. Salman Khan called him the new Gabbar Singh of Bollywood, and he has often been compared to the iconic Bollywood villain Gabbar Singh. This role earned him significant recognition in Bollywood. He also garnered acclaim for his role as Hafiz Ali/Iqlakh Khan in the Hotstar series "Special OPS" (2020).
Beyond acting, he has worked as a writer, director, and producer. His maiden directorial venture was "The Choice" (2016), a short movie that was also his first venture as a writer and producer. He has also directed music videos. His other notable film credits include "Kung Fu Yoga" (2017), "Freddy" (2022), "Heropanti 2" (2022), and "Hukus Bukus" (2023), where he played MLA Iqbal Qureshi.
