Prabhas, born Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, is a popular Indian film actor who primarily works in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. He was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, India.

Prabhas made his acting debut with the Telugu film "Eeswar" in 2002. However, he gained widespread recognition and fame for his lead role in the Telugu film "Varsham" in 2004. He went on to act in numerous successful Telugu films such as "Darling," "Mr. Perfect," and "Baahubali: The Beginning" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion." The latter two films were among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

Prabhas has won several awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film "Mirchi" in 2013. He was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for his role in the film "Baahubali: The Beginning" in 2015.
