Khan Saab

Khan Saab is a popular Punjabi singer and lyricist known for his soulful voice and emotional songs that blend Sufi music with modern pop beats.

His real name is Imran Khan, and he was born on June 8, 1994, in Bhandal Dona, a small village in the Kapurthala district of Punjab, India. He comes from a simple Muslim family; his father's name is Iqbal Mohammad, his mother's name is Parveen Begum, and he has a brother named Mushtaq Khan and a sister named Nargis Khan.

Khan Saab loved singing since childhood and began learning music at just five years old, which laid the foundation for his future career.

He received his early education at his village school and later joined D.A.V. College for further studies, but he had to discontinue his education due to financial difficulties.

Despite this setback, he did not give up on his dreams and started working private jobs to support himself and his family while continuing to sing and write songs whenever possible.

His music career began around 2010 when he started performing at local music events, though he faced many rejections in the beginning. His talent was eventually noticed by respected Punjabi artist Garry Sandhu (Gurmukh Singh Sandhu), who became his mentor and gave him the stage name "Khan Saab".

The name was chosen because Sikhs and Muslims are traditionally called "Khan Saab" in their community.

Khan Saab rose to fame with his viral song "Zindagi Tere Naal," which exploded on YouTube in 2018, gaining over 20 million views in just nine months and eventually surpassing 200 million views. He is also well-known for other popular songs including "Jee Kharda," "Rim Jhim," "Sajna," and "Narazgi".

Moreover, he sang the song "Kasoor" for the Punjabi film Manje Bistre. Khan Saab has become a very popular personality on social media, with over 1.1 million followers on Instagram alone.
