Sumona Chakravarti, born on June 24, 1988, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi television productions. She moved to Mumbai with her family in 1997 and completed her education at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

She began her acting career at the age of 11 with a role in the film "Mann" in 1999. Over the years, she appeared in various television shows, but her big breakthrough came in 2011 when she played Natasha in the popular TV show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain."

She gained immense popularity with her role as Manju Sharma in the comedy show "Comedy Nights with Kapil," where she played the wife of Kapil Sharma. This show marked the beginning of her long-standing professional partnership with Kapil Sharma.

She continued to work with him in "The Kapil Sharma Show," where she portrayed the character of Sarla Gulati, a girl deeply in love with her neighbor Kapil. The show was a massive hit and further solidified her place in the Indian television industry.
