Mohit Suri (born 11 April 1981) is an Indian film director known for his work in Bollywood, particularly within the Bhatt Camp production family.

He is the nephew of directors Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, and the cousin of actors Emraan Hashmi, Pooja Bhatt, and Alia Bhatt. Suri began his career at a young age as an assistant director, working on films such as Kasoor, Awara Paagal Deewana, and Footpath.

Suri made his directorial debut with the 2005 suspense thriller Zeher, which was a moderate success. He followed this with Kalyug (also 2005), which achieved both critical and commercial success. His third film, Woh Lamhe (2006), was critically acclaimed despite not performing strongly at the box office. His fourth film, Awarapan (2007), a romantic action-thriller starring Emraan Hashmi, was critically acclaimed and became a commercial success.

Mohit Suri directed several quasi-sequels that became major commercial successes, including Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009), Murder 2 (2011), Aashiqui 2 (2013), and Ek Villain (2014). Murder 2, released on 8 July 2011, became a blockbuster. Aashiqui 2, a musical romance film, also became a blockbuster. Ek Villay, another romantic action-thriller, ran successfully and crossed the 1 billion rupee mark at the box office.

In subsequent years, he directed Crook (2010), based on racial attacks on Indian students in Australia, and Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015). He directed Half Girlfriend (2017), starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel. His 2020 release Malang, an action-thriller, was another notable film.

He also directed Ek Villain Returns (2022). In 2025, he released Saiyaara, a musical romance that became the highest-grossing film of his career.

Mohit Suri has been married to actress Udita Goswami since 2013, and they have two children together. He is known for saying, "I am very critical about my own work. I would never ever go out and say that I have made a masterpiece. I just give my best and hope that it's good enough".

Mohit Suri is ranked #15 globally by Pantheon's Historical Popularity Index among Indian film directors.
