Fardeen Khan, born on March 8, 1974, in Mumbai, is the son of Bollywood actor, director, and film producer Feroz Khan. He belongs to a Muslim Pathan family. After graduating in business management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Khan returned to India to pursue a career in film and trained in acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute.

Khan made his acting debut in 1998 with a leading role in the romance film Prem Aggan, for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He then starred in the films Jungle (2000), Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2001), Bhoot (2003), Dev (2004), and No Entry (2005).

Some of his other notable films include Kitne Door Kitne Paas, Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein, and Om Jai Jagadish. After appearing in Dulha Mil Gaya in 2010, he took a break from acting. He is making a comeback with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s grand movie, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, after a gap of 14 years.

Throughout his career, Khan has received several awards and nominations. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actor for the film Prem Aggan in 1999. He was also nominated for the Zee Cine Award for Best Debut Actor for the same film. In 2003, he won the IIFA Award for Style Icon of the Year.

Khan underwent a complete lifestyle makeover, giving up drinking and smoking, and introduced changes to his food habits. He also works out regularly.

Khan got married to Natasha Madhvani, the daughter of the veteran Indian actress Mumtaz, on December 14, 2005. The couple has a daughter named Diani Isabella Khan, born in December 2013, and a son named Azarius Fardeen Khan, born on August 11, 2017. However, in July 2023, it was reported that they were taking a mutual divorce after living separately for more than a year.
