Soha Ali Khan

Soha Ali Khan Pataudi is an Indian actress who has worked in Hindi, Bengali, and English films. She was born on October 4, 1978, in New Delhi, India.

She is the younger daughter of legendary Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore, who also serves as the chair of the Indian Censor Board, and former India cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the legendary Indian cricketer. She is the younger sister of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.

Soha Ali Khan received elite education abroad, graduating with a BA Hons in Modern History from Balliol College, Oxford University, and later earning an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

Before entering films, she commenced her career with Citibank and the Ford Foundation and also did some modeling work.

She started her acting career with the romantic comedy film "Dil Maange More" in 2004, which also marked her Hindi film debut alongside Shahid Kapoor, Tulip Joshi, and Ayesha Takia. She also debuted simultaneously with a Bengali film, "Iti Srikanta," during the same year.

She is best known for her role in the drama film "Rang De Basanti" (2006), where she played Sonia, and this performance earned her awards for Best Supporting Actress. She also gained recognition for her role in the romance film "Ahista Ahista" (2006).

Throughout her career, Soha Ali Khan has appeared in numerous films including "Khoya Khoya Chand" (2007), "Mumbai Meri Jaan" (2008), "Dil Kabaddi" (2008), "Dhoondte Reh Jaoge" (2009), "99" (2009), "Tum Mile" (2009), "Go Goa Gone" (2013), "War Chod Na Yaar" (2013), and "Ghayal Once Again" (2016). She continued acting in films such as "31st October" (2016) and "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3" (2018).

In 2017, she authored the book "The Perils of Being Moderately Famous," which won the Crossword Book Award in 2018. She is married to businessman Kunal Khemu, and they have a daughter together.
