Sindhu Menon

Sindhu Menon is an Indian former actress who starred in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films. She was born on June 17, 1985, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

She began her career as a child artist in the 1994 Kannada film "Rashmi". Her entry into the film industry came through Bharatanatyam dance; she was a trained dancer from childhood and won a Bharatanatyam competition, where judge Bhasker Hegde introduced her to Kannada film director K. V. Jayaram, who cast her in "Rashmi".

By 1999, at just 13 years old, she became a full-time actress after playing the female lead in "Prema Prema Prema".

At age 15, she expanded her career to Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil industries by acting in "Bhadrachalam," "Uthaman," and "Samuthiram," respectively.

Throughout her career, she appeared in notable films including Bharathiraja's "Kadal Pookkal" (2002), "Trinetram" (2002), and "Khushi" (2003). She received the female lead role in the 2006 Malayalam film "Pulijanmam," which won the National Film Award for Best Film in 2007. Her other significant works include "Eeram" (2009), "Vasthavam" (2006), and "Detective" (2007). She also acted in "Manjadikuru" (2008), "Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu" (2009), and "Rahasya Police" (2009).

She knows multiple languages including Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English. She is 5 feet 9 inches tall. Currently, she has stopped acting in films completely and is no longer residing in India.

She married Dominic Prabhu, and they have two children named Sathvik and Svetlana. Her siblings include Manoj Karthikeyan Varma and Sudha Menon.
