Sandali Sinha

Sandali Sinha (born 11 January 1972) is a former Indian Bollywood actress and model known primarily for her portrayal of Pia in the romantic film Tum Bin (2001).

She was born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India, and grew up in Delhi after her father, who was from an Air Force family of pilots and doctors, died in a road accident. Her mother raised three children, including Sandali, in Delhi.

She completed her schooling at Air Force Bal Bharati School in Delhi and later graduated in commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi. Though she was initially keen on becoming a doctor like other family members, a brief experience at an amateur fashion show sparked her interest in modelling.

She subsequently enrolled at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute to pursue her acting career. After graduating, she moved to Mumbai for better prospects and quickly became a model.

Her first major fame came through Sonu Nigam's music video "Deewana," directed by Anubhav Sinha, which led to her debut film Tum Bin (2001), also directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Super Cassettes Industries Limited.

In Tum Bin, she played Pia, an innocent woman who becomes a victim of circumstances, paired opposite models Priyanshu Chatterjee, Himanshu Malik, and Rakesh Bapat. Her acting in Tum Bin brought her significant attention in the industry.

She appeared in several other Bollywood films including Pinjar (2003), Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo (2004), and Main Rony Aur Jony (2013). She also worked as a music video artiste, small screen actress, and big screen actress during her career.

On November 6, 2005, Sandali Sinha married businessman Kiran Salaskar. The couple co-owns the Country Of Origin restaurant together. They have three children, including two sons. After her marriage, she gradually retired from acting and focused on her family and business ventures.
