Sanchita Padukone (also spelled Sanchitha Padukone) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Kannada and Telugu films, with additional roles in Tamil cinema. She was born on 16 March 1988 in Kundapura (also spelled Kundapur), Karnataka, India.

Her nickname is Sachu, and she stands 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) tall. She is Hindu by religion and holds Indian nationality. She made her acting debut with the 2009 Kannada drama film "Ravana."

She entered Tamil cinema the same year with "Vettaikaaran," where she played opposite actor Vijay. Her Telugu film debut came later with the 2013 romantic movie "Chammak Challo."

Throughout her career, she has appeared in several significant films including the Tamil drama "Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu" (2011), the Kannada film "Sathya Harishchandra" (2017), and "Gadinaadu" (2020).

Her 2021 release included "Asalem Jarigindi," and she appeared in "Atu Nuvve Itu Nuvve" (2024) in Telugu cinema.

She hails from Padukone village near Kundapura in Karnataka. She studied at Hombegowda College in Bangalore before pursuing modeling assignments, which eventually led to her acting career.
