Saiyami Kher

Saiyami Kher is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi and Telugu films. She was born on June 29, 1992, in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.

She comes from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry; her grandmother Usha Kiran was a well-known actress in Marathi cinema, and her mother Uttara Mhatre Kher was Miss India in 1982. She is also the niece of actress Tanvi Azmi.

She completed her studies at Mumbai's St. Xavier's College. Before entering films, she initially pursued a career in modeling and appeared in various commercials and print campaigns.

She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Rey in 2015, where she played the character Amrutha. The following year, she took on a prominent role in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's Hindi film Mirzya (2016), based on the Punjabi folklore of Mirza Sahiban, starring opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor.

For her performance in Mirzya, she received the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female.

Although Mirzya tanked at the box office, she continued to build her career with diverse roles. In 2018, she appeared in the Marathi film Mauli as Renuka. In 2020, she joined the cast of Mayank Sharma's web series Breathe: Into the Shadows, sharing the screen with Abhishek Bachchan, and also appeared in Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai as Sarita Pillai and in Unpaused as Ayesha Hussain.

In 2021, she played an NIA Agent named Arya Pandit alongside Nagarjuna in the action film Wild Dog.

Her notable 2023 roles included playing Anina in R Balki's film Ghoomer, which received a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Iravati in 8 A.M. Metro. She continued her diverse work in 2024 with roles as Avni Purohit in Agni and in Sharmajee Ki Beti as Tanvi.

In April 2025, she appeared in the movie Jaat. Beyond acting, Kher has been associated with modeling and brand endorsements.
