Sana Althaf

Sana Althaf is an Indian actress who works primarily in Malayalam and Tamil films.

She was born on June 6, 1999, in Kochi (also spelled Ernakulam), Kerala, India, to parents Althaf and Shameena Althaf, who belong to a Muslim family. She attended Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya school in Kochi.

Before entering the film industry, Sana Althaf worked as a TV host. She hosted the series "My Show" from 2014 to 2015. Her acting career began when she got her first film role through her aunt Sajna Najam, who is connected to the entertainment industry.

Sana Althaf made her film debut in the 2014 Malayalam movie "Vikramadithyan," where she played Dulquer Salman's sister in a supporting role.

The following year, in 2015, she received her first lead role in the Malayalam film "Mariyam Mukku," opposite Fahadh Faasil, where she portrayed the character Salomi. She was also seen as a trekker in the 2015 Malayalam film "Rani Padmini".

Her debut in Tamil cinema came through "Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings" in 2016, where she played the character Anuradha. In 2017, she acted alongside Farhan Faasil in the Malayalam romantic comedy "Basheerinte Premalekhanam," playing the character Suhra.

She later appeared in the 2018 Malayalam film "Odiyan," where she played Meenakshi, the sister of actress Manju Warrier. Her other Tamil film appearances include "RK Nagar" and "Pancharaksharam".
