Saba Qamar Zaman, commonly known as Saba Qamar, is a Pakistani actress and television personality born on April 5, 1984, in Gujranwala, Pakistan.

She is one of Pakistan's most popular and highest-paid actresses, recognized for her versatile roles in both television dramas and films. Saba belongs to a Syed family and was raised by her grandmother in Gujranwala after her father passed away when she was only three years old.

Saba Qamar made her acting debut at the age of 19 with the television series "Main Aurat Hoon" in 2005. Her first major success came with the 2010 pre-partition drama "Dastaan," where she played the parallel female lead and earned a Pakistan Media Award.

Following this, her starring roles in "Pani Jaisa Piyar" and the socio-drama "Thakan" (both 2011) established her as a leading actress in Urdu television. She gained positive media attention for her role as Ruqsana Inayat in the historical drama "Jinnah Ke Naam" (2009).

Throughout her television career, she has starred in numerous acclaimed series including "Besharam," "Digest Writer," "Bunty I Love You," "Tinkay," "Sannata," "Uraan," "Maat," and "Sangat". She has also hosted and performed as a comedian on the political satire "Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain" from 2009 to 2015.

Her television work earned her two PTV Awards for Best Actress, including one at the 16th annual PTV awards on July 23, 2011.

Saba Qamar transitioned to films with the biographical film "Manto" (2015) and the romantic comedy "Lahore Se Aagey" (2016). Her Hindi cinema debut came with Saket Chaudhary's educational drama "Hindi Medium" (2017) opposite Irrfan Khan, for which she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actress.

She portrayed Fouzia Azeem in the 2017 biographical drama "Baaghi," which earned her a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress, and Noor Jehan in "Main Manto" (2017). In 2019, she starred in the courtroom drama "Cheekh," portraying a strong-headed woman.

The Government of Pakistan has honored Saba Qamar with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and the prestigious Pride of Performance Award in 2016 for her contributions to the entertainment industry. Her accolades include two Lux Style Awards, three PTV Awards, one Hum Award, one Nigar Award, and a Filmfare Award nomination.
