Rinke Khanna

Rinke Khanna (born Rinke Jatin Khanna; 27 July 1977) is a former Indian actress who appeared in Bollywood films during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

She is the youngest daughter of legendary actress Dimple Kapadia and actor Rajesh Khanna, and the younger sister of actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna. Through her sister's marriage, she is also the sister-in-law of actor Akshay Kumar.

She was born in Mumbai and made her film debut with the romantic comedy Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi in 1999. For this film, she changed her original screen name from Rinkle to Rinke.

In Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, she played the supporting role of Khushi, and her performance earned her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. She made her Tamil film debut in 2001 with Majunu, which was the only Tamil film she ever acted in.

Her subsequent film projects included Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001), Yeh Hai Jalwa (2003), and Jhankaar Beats (2003), though these films flopped miserably. She also starred in the 2004 film Chameli. Other notable films in her filmography include Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, where she appeared alongside Govinda.

In early 2003, she took a hiatus from the film industry to marry businessman Sameer Saran on February 8, 2003. The couple is happily married and settled in the United Kingdom, specifically in London, where they live with their daughter and son. Since her marriage and relocation, she has not returned to acting, making her a former Indian actress.
