Richa Panai is an Indian actress and model who appears in films across Mollywood (Malayalam), Tollywood (Telugu), Bollywood (Hindi), and Kannada cinema. She was born on February 24, 1993, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father is Surendra Pal Singh and her mother is Shukuntla Panai; she has a sibling named Ravi Panai.

She began her career as a flight attendant (air hostess) and completed a correspondence course from Delhi University while working in that role.

She later transitioned to modeling and came to prominence as a model in advertisements for the Indian jewellery company Bhima Jewellery, which made her a familiar face in Kerala. Her win at an award competition inspired her to pursue modeling further.

She made her celluloid debut in Malayalam cinema in 2011 with the film "Vaadamalli" (also spelled "Vaadaamalli"), directed by Albert Antoni. That same year, she featured as the leading lady in three back-to-back Malayalam films: "Vaadamalli," "Bangkok Summer," and "Sandwich," appearing alongside stars like Unni Mukundan and Kunchako Boban.

Her performances in these films earned her the Asianet Film Award for Best New Face of the Year (Female) in 2012.

The very next year, she entered Tollywood with the socio-fantasy film "Yamudiki Mogudu: Ee Nela Thakkuvodu" (also known as "Yamudiki Mogudu"), starring opposite Allari Naresh. She impressed viewers with her arresting glamour and captivating persona in this Telugu debut.
