Richa Gangopadhyay (born March 20, 1986, in New Delhi, India) is an Indian former actress and model who predominantly worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali films between 2010 and 2013.
She was raised in a Bengali family and moved to the United States at age three, where she completed her schooling at Okemos High School in Michigan.
She began her career in beauty pageants, winning Miss India Michigan and Miss India USA in 2007, and later earned Miss Beautiful Eyes and Miss Photogenic titles at Miss Indian Worldwide 2008 while representing US Indians. Her pageant success opened avenues in acting, prompting her to move to Mumbai and pursue a diploma in acting from Anupam Kher's school, Actor Prepares.

After completing her training, she appeared in commercials, including a hair oil advertisement alongside Preity Zinta, and several print and digital campaigns for national and global brands.
She made her film debut as the lead character Archana in Sekhar Kammula's Telugu film Leader (2010), which was a commercial hit. During her career, she starred in five films: three Telugu titles (Leader, Nagavalli, and Mirapakay) and two Tamil films (Mayakkam Enna and Osthe), along with a Bengali project.
Her performance as Yamini, a troubled musician, in the Tamil musical drama Mayakkam Enna (2011) became her most notable role, earning her four awards for Best Actress. She also received the Southspin Fashion Awards' Stylish Diva Award for Osthe.
She subsequently starred opposite Prabhas in the blockbuster Telugu film Mirchi (2013) and appeared in Bhai (2013) as Radhika, her last known film role. At the peak of her career, she decided to quit acting in 2013 and returned to the United States to pursue higher education in business.
She earned an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2017 and later focused on a long-term career in business management. She is now married to Joe Langella, her business school classmate, and resides in Northville, Michigan.
