Rashi Khanna

Raashi Khanna (Raashii Khanna), born on 30 November 1990 in New Delhi, India, is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films.

She hails from Delhi and was raised there, completing her schooling at St. Mark's Senior Secondary Public School in Delhi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. Her parents are Raj K. Khanna (father) and Sarita Khanna (mother).

She made her acting debut in a supporting role with the Hindi film Madras Cafe in 2013, where she shared the screen with John Abraham.

Her performance in the film earned her recognition, including nominations for the Star Guild Award for Best Female Debut and the Star Guild Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She subsequently made her Telugu debut with the successful film Oohalu Gusagusalade in 2014. She also appeared in a cameo role in the superhit Telugu film Manam in 2014.

Throughout her career, she has starred in several commercially successful films that established her as one of the leading actresses in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Her notable commercially successful films include Bengal Tiger (2015), Supreme (2016), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), Tholi Prema (2018), Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018), Venky Mama (2019), Prati Roju Pandage (2019), Thiruchitrambalam (2022), and Sardar (2022).

In Tamil cinema, she made her debut with Imaikkaa Nodigal in 2018, sharing the screen space with Atharvaa and Nayanthara. She also starred in the Malayalam film Villain in 2017.

Beyond mainstream films, she has expanded her work into streaming series, starring in Rudra: The Edge of Darkness in 2022 and Farzi in 2023. She has also sung a few songs in different languages, showcasing her versatility as a performer.

Before her acting career, she worked as a model and appeared in commercials for brands such as Tata Sky, Alto 800, Domino's, and Pizza ads. Her height is approximately 5'6". As of 2025, she continues to be an active and prominent figure in South Indian cinema.
