Raashi Khanna

Raashi Khanna (born November 30, 1990, in New Delhi, India) is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil cinema.

She made her acting debut in a supporting role with the Hindi political thriller Madras Cafe in 2013, where she played Ruby Singh, the wife of an Indian intelligence officer portrayed by John Abraham.

Her Telugu debut came with the romantic film Oohalu Gusagusalade in 2014, which won her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

She established herself as one of the leading actresses in Telugu and Tamil cinema through commercially successful films including Bengal Tiger (2015), Supreme (2016), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), Tholi Prema (2018), Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018), Venky Mama (2019), Prati Roju Pandage (2019), Thiruchitrambalam (2022), Sardar (2022), and Aranmanai 4 (2024).

She made her Tamil debut with Imaikkaa Nodigal in 2018, sharing the screen with Atharvaa and Nayanthara. Other notable releases include World Famous Lover (2020), Bhramam (2021), Thank You (2022), and Yodha (2024).

Born to Raj K. Khanna and Sarita Khanna, Raashi Khanna has an elder brother named Raunaq Khanna. She completed her schooling at St. Mark's Senior Secondary Public School and graduated with a B.A. in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.

During her school days, she initially aspired to become a singer, then later wanted to become an IAS officer before pursuing acting.
