Radhika Apte (born 7 September 1985) is an Indian film and stage actress who works primarily in Hindi cinema, with notable appearances in Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Bengali, and English-language films. She hails from Pune, where she grew up in a Marathi family after being born in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
She began her acting career in theatre, working with the theatre troupe Aasakta in her hometown of Pune before venturing into films. She made her feature film debut with a brief role in the Hindi fantasy drama "Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!" (2005), which co-starred Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.

Her first starring role was in the 2009 Bengali social drama "Antaheen". She made her Marathi film debut in 2009 with the tragic romance "Samaantar".
Her Bollywood breakthrough came in 2015, following acclaimed performances in three films: the revenge thriller "Badlapur," the comedy "Hunterrr," and the biographical film "Manjhi – The Mountain Man". She received wide appreciation for her leading role in the psychological thriller "Phobia" (2016), and her performance in the independent film "Parched" (2016) also earned her significant acclaim.
In 2018, she starred in three major Netflix productions: the anthology film "Lust Stories," the thriller series "Sacred Games," and the horror mini-series "Ghoul". Her performance in "Lust Stories" earned her an International Emmy Award nomination, making her the first Indian actress to receive this honor. She continued to gain recognition for her roles in "Andhadhun" (2018), "Baazaar" (2018), and "Raat Akeli Hai" (2020).
Her recent work includes "Vikram Vedha" (2022), "Monica, O My Darling" (2022), "Merry Christmas" (2024), and "Sister Midnight" (2024). Her performance in "Sister Midnight" earned her a nomination for a British Independent Film Award. She has also appeared in international projects including "A Call to Spy" (2019), where she portrayed Noor Inayat Khan.
