Puja Banerjee

Puja Banerjee (born February 6, 1987) is an Indian film and television actress who works primarily in Bengali cinema and Hindi television. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, and is also sometimes credited as Pooja Bose or simply Pooja.

She began her television career with the show "Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki" and later gained prominence for her role as Vrinda, a simple Punjabi girl, in the Star Plus romantic series "Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna".

She studied at St. Paul's Mission School in Kolkata and graduated from Scottish Church College, Kolkata. When she was 15 years old, she appeared in a small role in the film "Escape from Taliban" (2003).

Her film career includes work in both Telugu and Bengali cinema. She made her Bengali film debut with "Macho Mustanaa" starring Hiran Chatterjee.

She played the female lead in Raja Chanda's "Challenge 2" alongside Dev Adhikari and in Sujit Mondal's "Rocky" starring Mahaakshay Chakraborty. In 2018, she appeared in the Bengali film "Hoichoi Unlimited" starring Dev Adhikari. She also acted in the Telugu film "Veedu Theda". Banerjee is known for her role as Sapna Amar Saxena in the Hindi film "Great Grand Masti" (2016).

Puja Banerjee is married to Kunal Verma and was previously married to Arnoy Chakraborty. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and she holds Indian nationality.
