Priyanka Arul Mohan

Priyanka Arul Mohan (born November 20, 1994) is an Indian film actress known primarily for her work in Telugu and Tamil cinema, with additional roles in Kannada films.

She was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and grew up in a middle-class multicultural family; her father Arul Mohan is Tamil and her mother Krishna Mohan is Kannada. She completed her schooling at Sishya School in Chennai and later earned a degree in biotechnology from PES University in Bengaluru, where she was also raised. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio.

Priyanka made her film debut in 2019 with the Kannada horror-thriller anthology Ondh Kathe Hella, directed by Girish Girija Joshi. Although this debut received limited attention, it marked her entry into the film industry.

Her major breakthrough came later in 2019 when she starred as Priya in the Telugu action comedy Gang Leader opposite Nani, a film in which five women seek help from a crime novelist to avenge their loved ones' deaths. Her performance in Gang Leader was praised for its freshness and screen presence, earning her recognition in the Telugu film industry.

In 2021, she appeared as Chaitra opposite Sharwanand in the Telugu drama film Sreekaram. That same year, she made her Tamil debut with Sivakarthikeyan's commercially successful film Doctor, directed by Nelson. The film received positive reviews, and her performance was noted favorably, solidifying her position as a rising star in Tamil cinema.

She has also been cast in other movies including Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Captain Miller.
