She made her strong entry into the film industry in 1993 with the Tamil film "Valli," which was produced by superstar Rajinikanth and marked her debut feature film. That same year, she marked her debut in Malayalam cinema with "Arthana," directed by the renowned filmmaker I. V. Sasi.

In 1995, she garnered attention in Telugu cinema with her performance in "Subha Sankalpam," further demonstrating her versatility as an actress across multiple language industries. She has also appeared in films such as "Maanthrikam" (1995) and "Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam" (1996).

In addition to her film career, Priya Raman has made a strong mark in the television industry with appearances in several television series in both Tamil and Malayalam.
