Prarthana Behere is an Indian actress who works in Hindi television and Hindi and Marathi films. She was born on 5 January 1983 and started her acting career at the age of 16. Prarthana belongs to a Marathi family from Gujarat, India.

She is best known for her role as Vaishali Karanjkar (also credited as Vaishali Dharmesh-Jaipurwala) in the popular Zee TV television show Pavitra Rishta, which launched her to fame. Before her television success, she won the 9X Jhakaas Heroine Hunt Season 1 competition.
