P. Bhanumathi Ramakrishna was an Indian actress, director, music director, singer, producer, novelist and lyricist. Widely known as "Bahumuka Pragyasali", she was the first ever female superstar. Bhanumathi appeared in over 100 films predominantly in Telugu and Tamil languages.
