Satish K. Tripathi is an academic and the current President of the University at Buffalo (UB), which is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. He has been serving as the President of UB since 2011. Tripathi is an accomplished computer scientist and has made significant contributions to the field of computer science research and education. Before becoming President of UB, Satish K. Tripathi held various academic positions at the University of Maryland, College Park, and served as the Dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. He has a strong background in computer science and has conducted research in the areas of parallel computing, wireless networks, and performance evaluation.
