Nitin Nohria is an Indian-American academic and business executive. He is known for his leadership roles in the field of business education and administration. Nohria was born in India in 1962 and earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He then pursued an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Ph.D. in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Nitin Nohria joined the faculty of Harvard Business School (HBS) in 1988 and has been associated with the institution ever since. He has held various positions at HBS, including professor, co-chair of the Leadership Initiative, and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Development. Nohria is widely recognized for his expertise in leadership, organizational change, and corporate governance.
