Shipra Khanna

Shipra Khanna, born on November 17, 1981, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India, is a celebrated Indian celebrity chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality.

She rose to national fame after winning the second season of the Indian television cooking competition MasterChef India in 2012 at the age of 29. Coming from a modest background, she  pursued her education at Loreto Convent and St. Bede’s College in Shimla, where she developed a passion for cooking.

Following her MasterChef victory, she quickly became one of India’s most popular female chefs, hosting and starring in several television shows such as "Junoon – Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye," "Kitchen Queen," and "Spicy ChitChat."
